About Sean
As one of Greater Dandenong’s more experienced Councillors, I am proud to continue serving the Springvale North community, having first been elected in 2012. Over the years, I’ve learnt the importance of listening, engaging and working closely with residents to ensure Council remains fair, well run and focused on what matters most.
My commitment to Greater Dandenong is grounded in many years of local involvement. I have lived in Springvale since 2006 and remain an active member of our community, and I believe Council plays a vital role in bringing people together, strengthening connections and helping us move forward as one.
I had the honour of serving as Mayor in 2015, which allowed me to work closely with residents, community groups and local businesses across the city. Since 2018, I have also represented Greater Dandenong and neighbouring municipalities on the Municipal Association of Victoria Board, contributing to statewide advocacy for councils and the communities they serve.
My focus continues to be on the fundamentals residents say matter most: easing cost of living pressures by keeping rates as low as possible, improving local roads, footpaths and parks, strengthening community safety and reducing unnecessary council expenditure. I am also committed to keeping our streets clean, reducing rubbish dumping and ensuring residents are genuinely consulted on key decisions.
As always, I welcome contact from residents. Your feedback helps shape our priorities and together we can continue building a safer, fairer and more vibrant Greater Dandenong.
