About Melinda
I am the Councillor for Keysborough Ward, first elected in 2024. Having lived in Greater Dandenong for most of my life, I bring strong local knowledge and a deep commitment to our community’s wellbeing. I am committed to improving community safety and supporting a better quality of everyday life for our residents with a particular focus on supporting older people, people with disabilities and creating more opportunities for young people.
Community support is a core part of my work and values. I volunteer with the Kindness Community, contributing to the delivery of meals, social connection and practical assistance for residents experiencing hardship. It’s important to me that vulnerable community members can access essential services and the support they need.
I am working to improve safer streets, cleaner and greener neighbourhoods, upgraded community facilities and better accessibility across the ward. My goal is to represent Keysborough with empathy and integrity, and to help build a more inclusive and connected community for all.
