Keerthana Music School presents Ragam Resonance

94
A vibrant multicoloured lotus flower bearing the Om symbol rises from a tranquil lake at sunrise, surrounded by lily pads, distant mountains and reflective golden water.

This performance, curated by local artists, invites audiences into a space of stillness and inner connection. Drawing on timeless spiritual philosophies and exploring themes of trust, surrender and reverence, it offers a contemporary interpretation of a rich cultural tradition that continues to resonate across generations.

The art form serves as a reminder that the pursuit of stillness is universal and enduring, and that ancient traditions can provide a pathway towards it.

Through the lens of the Pillars of Devotion, this work explores the depth and beauty of the Carnatic vocal tradition.

This is a Sangam Labs project in collaboration with Keerthana Music School. Supported by City of Greater Dandenong’s Creative Access Program.
