Cultural Sketch is an intimate, artist-led experience where conversation becomes canvas. Part of an ongoing program supporting creative exchange, it offers artists and audiences a space to share skills, stories and lived experience.
Across the evening, creatives from Victorian State Ballet. speak candidly about their practice—their influences, rituals and realities—while you are invited to respond in your own way. Sketch the speaker, their objects, the atmosphere, or let the stories guide your hand.
This is not about technical skill. It’s about presence, curiosity and creative instinct. Whether you draw often or not at all, you’re welcome here.
Designed for adults (18+), Cultural Sketch is a space to listen, create and connect—where inspiration is immediate and expression is yours to define.
Materials will be provided.
Refreshments will be served at this session.
This Cultural Sketch is part of the public program for the Victorian State Ballet. There will be no performance on this night, however the Victorian State Ballet is performing at the Drum Theatre 8-9 August. Read more information about Aladdin - Victorian State Ballet.
