Each year we provide more than $2 million in community grants to support individuals and community groups to deliver projects and activities that support the people of Greater Dandenong.
The Medium Grants Program will open soon for submissions and offers one-off grants up to $10,000 for community groups and up to $5000 for individuals.
The program has four categories:
- Community Development Grants for projects that support community education, life-long learning, community inclusion and social cohesion.
- Climate Change Action Grants for projects that deliver climate related or other positive environmental outcomes and assist Council in our commitment to tackling climate change.
- Arts, Festivals and Events Grants for open and accessible festivals, events and art projects that activate public spaces, build community connection and encourage cross-cultural exchange.
- Individual Artist Grants for art projects that have high artistic merit and attract new audiences.
Projects must be delivered between 1 January and 31 December 2027.
