Every year we produce a community calendar which holds important information about waste and recycling programs and events in our community, along with photos that showcase our beautiful city.
We are now calling for community members to photograph the places that make Greater Dandenong unique and enter into the 2027 Community Calendar Photography Competition.
Share your favourite views and local discoveries – from iconic cityscapes and green open spaces to hidden suburban treasures and the natural beauty found across our city. Show us what makes Greater Dandenong worth celebrating.
The competition closes at 5pm on Monday 31 August. Winners will be selected by a panel of Council staff including the Arts Curator.

To support Council’s sustainability efforts we are introducing a new way to receive the calendar. From December 2026 you will be able to collect your copy from convenient locations across our community, including Council Customer Service Centres, the libraries in Dandenong and Springvale, Keysborough Community Hub and other central locations. Stay tuned for more information.
